LiverInfo.com was developed in 2013 to serve a need of providing accurate and reliable information about liver disease for patients and health care providers.

Audience: Our audience consists of hepatologists, gastroenterologists, internal medicine specialists, infectious disease specialists, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals (nurses, social workers etc.) Patients with liver disease may also freely access the website. Membership is free of charge.

Who We Are

LiverInfo.com is owned and produced by Dr. Andy Thompson. The other really important members of our team include Cheryl Dale, Mark Atkinson, Kevin Firko, and Christina Clark.

Andy is a licensed fellow of the royal college of physicians and surgeons of Canada. He is a practicing internist and rheumatologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada.

Cheryl Dale is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Multi-Organ Transplant Program at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital. Cheryl is the current president of the Canadian Association of Hepatology Nurses (CAHN).
